Bushy Lake Chalets was first built in 1999 with only 4 Chalets, expanding to 6 Chalets with the addition of the Studios.

In 2016 we (Mel and Rob McDonald) purchased the property and are the third owners.  We are from Perth and come from administration and construction careers.  Margaret River is definitely a tree change and now into our fifth year of business, are thoroughly enjoying the experience and the region.  

Bushy Lake Chalets is located under 6kms from the Margaret River town centre and 5 kms to Gnarabup and Surfers Point.  It is ideally located right in the middle of the region close to many internationally renowned wineries, restaurants, breweries, beaches, bushwalking and mountain bike tracks, caves and more.

We have three children, two grandchildren and 1 dog that likes to greet every new guest with her bark, we don't need a doorbell!
